It was a cloudy morning on the day of Alvin & Young’s wedding. The wedding was intimate with 50 guests. Hotel Giraffe was perfect for a wedding of this size. Married on a Manhattan rooftop is nothing to complain about. Especially when the breaks of blue sky appeared during the ceremony. The two walked down the isle together, hand in hand. I remember briefly speaking with Alvin at the end and saying, “So, you guys have a long road ahead of you.” His reply melted my heart. He said, “Yes. It is a long road… but, I get to spend it with this one.”
