A lot of planning goes into an engagement session. The couple and I discuss everything from the date, time, location, wardrobe, and props. One unpredictable thing that can either work very for or against you is the weather. This makes is especially hard when you are trying to plan a destination engagement session. It’s always important to schedule a back-up date.
The first date scheduled for Christina and Vincent’s engagement session was set in April. Little did we know that a flood would be hitting Houston the exact same day! We had to reschedule for the following month. We checked the weather everyday leading up the photo shoot and all we saw was rain, rain, rain. Thankfully, the weather spirits were kind to us. Even though the forecast said thunderstorms, there was no rain, only dark clouds. These super big clouds gave our photo session a extra hint of drama, and we love the way the photos came out. We are definitely going to keep our fingers crossed for sunny skies on their wedding day in September!
